George Vryonidis

George Vryonidis studied in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Western Macedonia, specializing in painting. Concurrently, he delved into representational archaeology (mosaics and iconography). He also holds an equivalent and indivisible postgraduate degree. During this period, he maintains an artistic workshop in Limassol, engaging in programs organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with primary schools. He provides services in secondary education as an independent educator. Recently, he has installed two public works in the Primary School of Agios Panteleimonas and in the Municipality of Germasogeia. He has also participated in various group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad.

In his current artistic period, he creates sculptures from discarded wooden pieces with geometric shapes, in the rhythms of constructivism and modernism. The structure maintains a sense of balance but with flexible movement. Through society, he is inspired by observing the visual stimuli of adults and young spectators, searching for the inner child within us. The child is both the beginning and the end in a chaotic world filled with events that primarily shape today but also tomorrow.
